Actually, in a momumental facebook moment, I will admit that he clearly saved my life, as at the young age of 48, he removed a tumor that would have killed me within two yrs, and spared all the important stuff (!!!), so I have nothing but praise for him...nonetheless, when the last thing you sign before going "under" is a "release" acknowledging that removal of the prostate is associated, in some instances, with an overall shortening of the only instrument I possess for which length matters (?), it is a tad unsettling. All I could muster was, "well, at least I've got plenty to work with, eh doc?"...he did not reply.

Great stuff, WT, and I'm glad that everything turned out OK. I bet "it" served as a "mechanism" to give you some perspective on our short, sweet time here.

Funny about the docs lack of response. I guess silence is better than a chuckle!

Thanks, though I note with some trepidation that the word "short" mysteriously appeared in your reply. I shall let it pass.

Being the truly magnanimous Prime Minister that you are Brother Tell... Is very noble of you to let it pass...

Tell - I'm glad I didn't miss knowing you. As far as I'm concerned you've made life better by being here. Fuck anyone who says different.

Kinder words have rarely surfaced hereabouts, and they are appreciated. Now, back to my cont'ing review of Nov 71, as it holds even more gems than I'd imagined, and the family (stereo mufflers they be) are away!
